2021 Russian River Valley Pinot Noir
The 2021 vintage was an excellent and, in many ways, a very normal growing year in the Russian River Valley. The rainfall was lower than average, but otherwise, the weather throughout the season was perfect, not too hot and cool enough for slow, even ripening.
Our '21 Russian River Valley Pinot Noir is a classic example of what this appellation is famous for. There is plenty of ripe fruit on the nose, combined with Asian spices, a touch of mint, and subtle, earthy aromas. The firm palate evolves with aeration and shows off an abundance of spicy Pinot fruit. Enjoy this from late 2022 through 2032.
