2024 Graham Family Vineyard Pinot Noir

 

The 2024 Graham Family Vineyard Pinot Noir is a selection of the finest 4 barrels of the vintage.  2024 was a typical growing year in the Russian River Valley with the daily combination of sunny afternoons followed by foggy evenings, nights and mornings.  After the very cool vintage of 2023, this felt like a back to normal season.  We did have a series of heat waves in the month of September, but as usual, we harvested Graham at the end of September.  Graham handles the warm periods better than most of the vineyards in the Russian River Valley, and it ripens slowly evenly.  This was our 21st vintage of Graham.  

With its intriguing nose of ripe fruit and earthy spice, the '24 Graham is a beautiful wine, similar to the 2021, 2018 and 2014 vintages. This should be at its best from late 2026 through 2037.
