2004 Graham Family Vineyard Pinot Noir

2004 was the first crop off of the Graham Family Vineyard, which is owned by August West partner, Howard Graham.  We received mostly the 667 clone as well as some Swan selection for our first Graham, two parts of the vineyard we have worked with each year since.  '04 was a cool season, for the most part, until mid August, when the temperatures skyrocketed for almost two weeks.  The Graham Pinot rode out the weather just fine, and we harvested well after the heat wave subsided.

As of mid 2011, the '04 Graham was still drinking perfectly.  It has a very seductive texture and beautiful, spicy aromas.  We predict it should maintain this plateau through 2015 and hopefully beyond.
